Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for using LittleNest, including accounts, family spaces, moments, shared family content, and account deletion.
These Terms are a practical starting point for a private family memory app, but they are not a substitute for legal advice. Replace the operator details with your exact legal entity before publishing.
1. Agreement to These Terms
By accessing or using LittleNest, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use LittleNest.
In these Terms, "LittleNest," "we," "us," and "our" refer to LittleNest and the operator of the LittleNest service.
2. The Service
LittleNest is a private family memory app. It allows users to create family spaces, save moments, upload photos and videos, add notes and dates, invite family members, and view family timelines and memory features.
LittleNest is not a public social network, emergency service, child-safety monitoring service, medical tool, legal record system, or permanent archival guarantee.
3. Eligibility and Family Authority
You must be able to form a binding agreement with us and must comply with applicable law. If you use LittleNest on behalf of a family, child, or another person, you represent that you have the authority and consent required to do so.
If you create a child profile, upload content that includes a child, or invite a child to use LittleNest, you are responsible for making sure you have appropriate parent or guardian authority and that the use is appropriate for the child.
4. Accounts and Sign-In
You may need an account to use LittleNest. You are responsible for keeping your account secure, maintaining access to your sign-in method, and promptly telling us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate another person. You may not share your account in a way that avoids access controls or harms the privacy of a Nest.
5. Nests, Members, and Access
A Nest is a private family memory space. Active members of a Nest can generally see the moments, media, timelines, family member profiles, invitations, join requests, and recaps associated with that Nest.
LittleNest may support multiple Nests. A person can belong to more than one Nest. Access is managed at the Nest level unless the app later offers more detailed controls.
You are responsible for inviting only appropriate people to a Nest and for understanding that members may see family content in that Nest.
6. Your Content
"Your Content" means content you or your Nest members submit to LittleNest, including photos, videos, Live Photos, captions, notes, profile images, child profile information, family names, and feedback.
You keep ownership of Your Content. By submitting content, you grant LittleNest a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transmit, format, create technical copies, and otherwise use the content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve LittleNest and provide requested features.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share Your Content in the relevant Nest. Do not upload content that violates another person's rights or privacy.
7. Family Content and Deletion
Family content may involve more than one person. If you delete your account, you may lose access to LittleNest, but moments already shared in a Nest may remain available to other active Nest members unless you delete those moments or the Nest is deleted by an authorized creator.
If you are the creator of a Nest, you may need to delete the Nests you created before deleting your account. Deleting a Nest permanently deletes that family space and its related family data, subject to backup and legal retention limits.

8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use LittleNest for unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, exploitative, or deceptive purposes;
- upload content that violates privacy, intellectual property, publicity, or other rights;
- upload sexual, exploitative, abusive, or unsafe content involving minors;
- attempt to access a Nest, account, database, storage bucket, or system without authorization;
- interfere with or disrupt LittleNest, including by scraping, crawling, overloading, reverse engineering, or bypassing security controls;
- use LittleNest to distribute malware, spam, scams, or harmful code;
- misrepresent your identity, family relationship, or authority to invite or manage members.
9. AI, Recaps, and Suggestions
LittleNest may provide memory cards, recaps, reminders, tags, or suggestions using automated or AI-assisted features. These outputs are provided for convenience and emotional reflection. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not replace your own judgment.
We may change, pause, or remove automated features as the service evolves.
10. Notifications and Device Features
LittleNest may request access to device features such as photos, camera, microphone, and notifications. You control these permissions through your device settings. If you disable a permission, some features may not work.
Notifications are intended to be low-frequency service messages, memory reminders, recap notices, and important account updates. You can manage notification settings in the app or on your device.
11. Third-Party Services
LittleNest may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, storage, app distribution, email, notifications, diagnostics, and other infrastructure. Your use of those third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
12. Paid Features
LittleNest may currently be free. If we introduce paid features, subscriptions, storage plans, or in-app purchases, we will provide pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms at the time of purchase. App store purchases may be governed by Apple, Google, or another app store's payment terms.
13. Intellectual Property
LittleNest, including its app, design, software, branding, logos, and non-user content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of LittleNest intellectual property.
14. Service Changes and Availability
We may update, suspend, discontinue, or limit parts of LittleNest at any time. We try to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that LittleNest will always be available, error-free, secure, or that content will never be lost. You should keep your own backup of important photos, videos, and memories.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to LittleNest if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, harmed another user, or used the service in a way that threatens security or privacy. You may stop using LittleNest at any time and may request account deletion.
16. Disclaimers
LittleNest is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LittleNest and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or service interruption, arising from or related to your use of LittleNest.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LittleNest and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and personnel from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of LittleNest, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
Replace this section with the governing law and dispute-resolution terms appropriate for your legal entity and launch jurisdictions before publishing. Until then, disputes will be handled under the laws and courts applicable to the service operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app, by email, or by another reasonable method. Continued use of LittleNest after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
